Planners Comment
Thank you all for braving the country park for an event that was far drier than forecast.
Hope you enjoyed the courses. I saw various runners return muddied and some bloodied, but thankfully no complaints.
Thanks must go to Neil, Steve J & Karen for assistance during the planning process and to my helpers on the day, Michele and Dave for running maps sales and assisting with setting out, to Sam and Barry M for control collection, to Ffion for running the start and finally to the SI team for everything else.

For SI
A surprisingly nice morning (following the rains) for event at Southwater Park. Well done to Barry and Ffion Jones and helpers for a really good event.

SOG Series Info
SOGs are friendly club events where children and newcomers are very welcome. Yellow and Orange courses are suitable for children to run on their own with a bit of practice. Adults are welcome to shadow children until they are confident to go on their own. Green and Blue courses are run or walked by any age group - you can race competitively or just enjoy the woodland.
There are two series of events - autumn and spring of approximately 8 events each. Electronic timing (SI) is used.
Help on the day always appreciated.
