Report

A cheerful final SOG of the season with sunny views from the South Downs ridgeline to the sea. It was great to see some new faces at the event and there were plenty of hills for everyone, irrespective of fitness. Thanks go to Maya who organised her dad Matt and the car parking. Barry, Garry G and Maggy were a great help throughout, the SI tent team were superb and Sue's insistence on staying to collect all the equipment was vastly appreciated. A final thanks to Mike Gammon who behind the scenes ensured the courses had plenty of route options. I hope everyone enjoys the summer break.

SOG Series Info

SOGs are friendly club events where children and newcomers are very welcome. Yellow and Orange courses are suitable for children to run on their own with a bit of practice. Adults are welcome to shadow children until they are confident to go on their own. Green and Blue courses are run or walked by any age group - you can race competitively or just enjoy the woodland.

There are two series of events - autumn and spring of approximately 8 events each. Electronic timing (SI) is used.

Help on the day always appreciated.
