SOG Series Info
SOGs are friendly club events where children and newcomers are very welcome. Yellow and Orange courses are suitable for children to run on their own with a bit of practice. Adults are welcome to shadow children until they are confident to go on their own. Green and Blue courses are run or walked by any age group - you can race competitively or just enjoy the woodland.
There are two series of events - autumn and spring, of approximately 10 events each. Electronic timing (SI) is used.
Help on the day always appreciated.

If you have competed on more than one course throughout the year you can choose between two (or more) courses. For those not eligible for the championship (eg are not a member of SO, or haven't run any SOGs this year) then you should start between 10am and 10:20am.
Trophies will be awarded for the first finisher from those running the green or blue courses and for the first junior on the yellow or orange. The senior winner will also be offered the opportunity of helping with the planning of next year's championship. Prize giving will take place shortly after 12 noon.
