Pre event info

The super-hilly annual trail race at Devil's Dyke. Electronic punching using SportIdent (SI). SI cards for hire.

All competitors will receive a map and timing chip at the Start. Easy navigation, mainly on paths.

Collect your map and timing chip in the car park in front of the Devil's Dyke Tavern. Race will start at 7.30pm prompt. Assemble on the grass to the north of the Dyke Tavern.

Check out previous year's Long and Short maps plus the 2024 event photos.

Course Setter Notes:

Some of the legs between checkpoints offer route choice. It's possible to stick to paths and tracks, but some runners may opt to cut across open grazing land. However, you must not run across rough open land where ground-nesting birds may be disturbed. Tracks and paths in areas of woodland are runnable and the summer undergrowth has not encroached across the paths too much. Please bring your own water.
