Course Information
For this activity you really need to identify a potential partner or partners beforehand. This activity can be undertaken by a pair of individuals, pairs of pairs etc. Each pair needs to bring two objects with them that will be left temporarily at a control site so should be something fairly easy to spot but not something that you really wouldn't want to lose or get eaten by cows.
At the start, one of the pair goes to location 1a and leaves their object there. Their partner goes to location 1b and leaves their object. You then go and find, and pick up, your partner's object which you then take to the next location. So one person will go 1a-1b-2a-2b-3a-3b etc always dropping at the "a" locations and picking up at the "b"s. whilst the other will go 1b-1a-2b-2a-3b-3a dropping at "b" and picking up at "a". Carry on until you have been to each site or just had enough. It is quite likely that you will bump into each other out there, and one partner may well catch the other up.
A MapRun course has been set up if you crave that beeping confirmation that you are at the right place. If you don't want to participate in the pairs activity you can just treat it as a score event, or as a course 1a-1b-2a-2b etc.
