Spot the Gruffalo in the deep dark wood at Parham!
It's the Gruffalo's 20th birthday on Saturday and he's going to be celebrating in the deep dark woods at Parham. Horsham District Council's Year of Culture Gruffalo will be trying out some Orienteering this weekend. See if you can snap a photo of him lurking around the woods on the yellow course and upload your sighting to www.globalgruffalo.co.uk!
Global Gruffalo is a project launched as part of the Horsham District Year of Culture 2019 – a celebration of culture and heritage in the south of England.
The author of The Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson CBE, is a resident in this glorious part of the world and patron of the Horsham District Year of Culture 2019. With The Gruffalo celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019 it was a perfect opportunity to create something fun and far reaching.
The idea is to:
- Take a photo of you and The Gruffalo
- Upload your sighting on the www.globalgruffalo.co.uk website saying where you are
- Hand The Gruffalo on to someone else to do the same
- Follow the journeys via @GlobalGruffalo on Twitter and Facebook and on www.globalgruffalo.co.uk
