• SO Juniors score top marks at CompassSport Cup

SO Juniors earned valuable points at Balcombe Estate Compass Sport Cup qualifying round to ensure SO won through, to the grand Final. With the added buzz of the SO Junior Squad cake stall, excitement and anticipation was high.

Our most “senior” junior, Jack secured 2^nd place on the tough men’s open class, with the junior men’s class won by Stan and solidly supported by Euan in 4^th place and Sam in 5^th. Scarlet won the junior women’s class with Amelia a “nearly” 3^rd place. Tommy was first on the boy’s orange, with support from Drew, and Ben who completed one of his first orange courses. The orange girls again packed in together, being separated by less than a minute, with Ella 3^rd, Maddie 4^th and Hermione 5^th to score valuable points and push other competitors down.

Well done to everyone that competed, and with 9 of the 25 scoring runs coming from juniors - your club definitely needs you, so book 21 October in your diary for the final.
