Many SO juniors on the JK relay podium

Last Updated: Tue 30 Jan 2018

With Easter eggs being awarded to members of the first six junior relay teams there was much munching of chocolate going on in the club tent. The best performance was from our mini relay team of Heather High, Kieran Fitzpatrick and Ella Boyle who finished second in their race.

For many the start of the mini-relay is the highlight of the JK. This year was no exception with a group of youngsters tearing away from the start - ninety degrees in the wrong direction! We can all be very proud of Heather who was the first competitor to do all the right things and realise that she had to turn right at the start. Also winning Easter eggs were Stan, Tommy and Drew (4th in the junior relay).

In the premier class (the JK Trophy) two members of the 2nd placed team were SO members (Ali Masson and Jonny Crickmore) - albeit running for their University team on the day.
