Pebbles, estates, clanking gates and climb
The 9th Brighton City Race took place on Sat 16th December starting on the front by Volks railway with the longer courses then having controls on the beach.
Most competitors then got to experience one or two tricky little estates before all courses converged on Queens Park for some butterflies and the disconcerting sound of clanking gates.
Congratulations to Anne Edwards and Pat Jaffe who won the open races and to all the other age class winners.
The event was also the last round of the South East Urban League.
