Planner's Notes:
Thank you to everyone who came along to take part in the SO Snooker O evening. The format was a little complicated but it seems most of you managed to get the controls in the right order. Those who did not, I've taken the highest score possible (i.e. if you dibbed 92 and 97 after a red you will have the points for the 97 control). There a couple of you who did not dib a colour after the last red but before the cue, in these cases I've given you points for the highest colour after the red but the points then stop. If you notice any discrepancies or would like clarification......... I will be leaving the country!! No really I will be happy to show you my workings out.
Huge thanks must go to Gethyn for doing all the organisation and putting out the controls - it took off so much pressure and to Mike Gammon for such a quick turnaround in printing the maps. Thanks also to Jaquie and Peter for the SI and being prepared to help with the complications involved in the scoring and also to Chris Hooker for mentioning the possibility of snooker and orienteering and for map sales and control collection.
I do hope you enjoyed the mental as well as physical challenge (particularly in going to number 97 more than once!!) - well done to you all.
