Southdowns Orienteers has been successful in its bid for support from British Orienteering in a project to increase participation. The submission focussed on the summer park series, but the club was also able to demonstrate previous success with data from SO Galloppen series.
SO is one of five clubs from a large number of entries to be selected to take part in an initiative set up with British Orienteering’s new participation manager (and England cross-country runner) Steve Vernon. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced club development officer and we look forward to working closely with Steve over the coming months.
