Southdown’s sprint family of the week lead three classes in the overall championships as we head into round three. The Hove Park planners have Nick leading Junior Men, Tom ahead on White and Steve winning the Vet class.
It was a hot day at Varndean and there were few PB’s. However Steve Ewens improved on the previous week along with Clare Lines who was back to fitness. The Mens Vet class already has 25 competitors and will be hotly contested in the forthcoming weeks. It could be all change after this weekend’s double-header that will test runners in conditions that are forecast to be wet. The Varndean points in full.
