Full Results Full comments from Carol Lovegrove :
This galoppen covers all regional events run in the SE. Scores are given to members of SEOA only, with the 1st place getting 100 points, 2nd place 99 etc.
Here are the scores after all 9 events: South Ashdown, Burnham Beeches, Westerham Chart, Selhurst Park, BOC 2006, Rewell, Long Valley, Winterfold and HIndleap. The best 6 scores count from a possible 9.
Congratulations to Edward Lines and Jonathon Crickmore who each won two of the junior courses, progressing rapidly through the course of the year.
Julia Jarvis, Mary Fogo, Dorothy Hale, Hedley Calderbank and Mike Murray all gained the maximum score of 600. In addition Mike Murray won all 8 events at which he competed.
Four people took part in all 9 events. There were 2035 runs counting in the galoppen, which is marginally less than 2005, but with 2 fewer events this suggests that participation is up. 58% of people had 1 or 2 runs. 98 of the 726 competitors scoring were juniors, although as some scored in two classes, the actual figure is slightly less. The classes with most runners were M21, and M50 for the men, and W21 for the women.

Many thanks to Edward Cox who has volunteered to take over the administration of the galoppen from 2007.
