Hi I am interested in orienteering but have never tried until this year. I find I am unable to attend your Sat morning events, and the Easter w/e event was very confusing for a beginner and I was unable to decide where exactly it was being held each day and there appeared to be no courses suitable for children or beginners. I realised after the event that there had been suitable courses and was disappointed I miss the event. I hope this helps. I just need a clear area on the event site that tells me that the individual event is suitable for a youngster and a beginner. The string course is great for my youngster. I have to say the south downs website is better than a lot of the others.
