Club Dinner & SOG presentations - Sat 18th March

Jim Parker has booked ahead and organised the annual Club Dinner for 7pm on Saturday 18th March at the Sportsman Inn, Goddards Green. Please contact Jim if you would like to join us and advise your menu choices from those listed below.

The cost is £20 per person and includes a three course meal, followed by tea/coffee and is usually a fun social evening, we hope you can join us ! Menu choices are listed below:

Starters:

(1) white onion, cheddar & cider soup bakery bread & unsalted butter (V)
(2)warm pea, feta, broad bean & mint crush on ciabatta croute with extra virgin oil.
(3)warm salad of Spanish chorizo with grilled halloumi topped with tempura battered zuchinni
(4)smoked mackerel pate with horseradish & chives melba toast, rocket and caper salad

Mains:

(5)medallions of pork tenderloin in rubbed sage butter beetroot puree, apple sautéed savoy cabbage, potato fondant, pan gravy
(6)roasted fillet of salmon on garlic rubbed courgette with puy lentils with spinach, cherry tomatoes & fennel
(7)roasted breast of chicken wrapped in smoked bacon with cranberry sauce honey and thyme roasted new potatoes & carrots in a savoy basket.
(8)sweet bell pepper stuffed with provencale vegetables & camembert on garlic & herb cous cous (V)

Sweets:

(9)individual lemon curd, chantily cream & raspberry pavlova
(10)warm sticky toffee pudding,toffee sauce, & vanilla ice cream.
(11)Drambuie & lavender crème brulee with sugared shortbread
(12)apple, cider & hedgerow berry crumble with vanilla custard
(13)selection of ice cream (vanilla chocolate strawberry)

Rounded off with tea & coffee
