Due to a late drop-out due to injury a vacancy has arisen for a final member of a five person Harvester team this weekend. We will be taking four teams to the event so plenty of lifts should be available.

I’m looking for someone to run the 6.5-7km final lap on Sunday

Details are on the TVOC website

Oh, and you will be probably be running about 6am in the morning. Most of the rest of us will be using the event campsite although some may be opting for a friend or relative’s floor, a local B&B;or simply getting up very very early.

The Harvester is one of those UK orienteering events that you must do sometime (just ask anyone who has done one)and being so close to home this would be an ideal one to start with.

Alex and I are taking part. We have just bought a large tunnel tent on Ebay that has several sleeping compartments, so if anyone is stuck we can soon put up an extra compartment down the far end. I don’t think that we are going to be too cramped for space :)
