First Aid cover at club events was recently raised at a club meeting.

British Orienteering rules state that the club has a responsibility to ‘ensure that appropriate first aid is easily available’. Additionally BO states that the First aid cover must be appropriate to the level of the event.  They list three options that can be considered:
to hire in professional first aid Support;
to make use of voluntary organisations such as st Johns Ambulance;
to use trained first aiders who are club members or coaches.

To this end I would like to put together a list of club members who are currently first aid trained and who are prepared to occasionally volunteer as an on-duty first aider for part of an event.
