Congratulations to Jane, Chris, Ian and Neil for this evening’s street-o. Definitely one of the best. With so many green spaces and footpaths, Burgess Hill is perfectly suited to urban orienteering. There are areas of the town where every road has been built with curves and features to keep them interesting. Alex and Josh enjoyed the mud (apparently), whereas I appreciated the entire lack of contours.

As well as great planning, the map was excellent and there is clearly potential for more events in the future without running along the same routes.

Burgess Hill turns out to be a bit of a gem.
