With all the cancelled events near Crawley due to the snow, why not use the courses later this spring for a three-in-one event, perhaps paired with something a street-o map like the following:

Or a traverse, using a few maps, connected by a street map like the above.

(O’Brien’s Open Orienteering Map street-map generator looks nice...it did a good job near my home, capturing the public pathways inside and outside the city, as well as the streets and open areas.)

An interesting idea Jim !! Maybe one worth looking at for the future.

Following the Club Meeting on Friday, we have now rescheduled two of the postponed events (subject to land permissions being obtained).

The Tilagte SONiC/KNC has been rescheduled for Tuesday 2nd February - anyone thinking of coming, please do email me and let me know if you’re planning on going to the pub afterwards too.

The Ditchling Common event we’re also hoping to have rescheduled, just waiting to see if we can get permission for the new date - please keep an eye on the Events Page for all full details of all future events.
