It’s amazing really, over 140 viewings of my previous posting to date and yet I have only 9 helpers over and above those of us who are planning and organising.

I have had a few apologies from some, but those are from people who help so much on other events and for some reason or other are unable to make this event, but they would have been willing to give their time if they were going to come.

The more people who help the less time each helper needs to spend on their task.
Helping for an hour on a Start will still mean you can still run three courses. Of course if we end up with the luxury of having lots of helpers then people may only need to spend half an hour on duty!

I would like to have some support for Jaquie and Peter for registration and download for 11:45-12:45 and 12:45-1:45 and we also need help on 2 starts for those times. We need someone on car parking between 11:00-12:00, and map sales from 11:45-12:45. Offers of help for control collection would also be appreciated. As far as Meet n Greet goes, it looks like I’ll have to draft in my dog Champers at this rate!

At the moment I and a few others are spreading ourselves very thinly between tasks.
