SO are attending two publicity events this year for which we need helpers and on the day coordinators for as we are too unreliable with the new baby!

Sat 27th June - Preston Park - TakePart 2009 (12-5pm)
Sun 19th July - Horsham Park - Horsham’s Big Day Out (12-4pm?)

The main duty of the coordinator is to pick up kit (mainly from Crawley), deliver and set up on site and manage the other helpers. I will be doing all planning and liaising with event organisers and Pete and I will both be there as extra helpers.

At each of these events we will run a string course and a small navigation grid - so you just need to be able to show someone how to orientate a map, be enthusiastic about the sport and ensure people walk away with a club flyer!

Please let me know if you can either coordinate one of these events or are available as a helper.

I really need 2 more people to help with set-up 9am to 11am and 1 or 2 more people to help later in the day 2pm to 5pm, so we can get a bit of a break.

The current team of helpers is myself and Pete, Ali Weller, Karen Ashworth and Claire Teesdale.
