Directions: From the west: travelling east along the A27 from the roundabout A27/A29 continue along the A27 for approximately 3km and turn left into the Paddocks at Grid Ref SU983072. Follow orienteering signs to parking area SU 985077.
From the east: travelling along the A27 from Arundel to the roundabout A27/A29 return east from this roundabout to the Paddocks as above.
Public Transport: Arundel railway station 4km, Barnham railway station 5km

Terrain: Mixed runnable and slow run undulated forest with a good network of tracks. The nature of the blocks of wood can vary considerably, with some mature coppiced sections and other areas of wood that have been recently thinned. There are also a couple of clear felled areas that are very rough and courses have been planned to avoid these.
Facilities: No toilets on site. Basic first aid available at registration. This event is our annual "mince pies & mulled wine" event. The club supplies the mulled wine and members are requested to bring the food.
Course info: In memory of the event’s founder, Elizabeth Brown, who passed away in May 2011, this event incorporates the Elizabeth Brown Trophy for the winner (on a handicapped scoring basis), together with a selection of other small prizes for the leading scorer in each of the following classes on the main 60 minute event: - 1/ open men, 2/ open women, 3/ M50+, 4/ W50+, 5/ first junior male, 6/ first junior female. The first M14- and W14- on the 45 minute will also receive a small prize at the presentation ceremony which will be held as soon as possible after 12.45pm.

60 & 45 minute Score courses. Odds & Evens format for the 60 minute course, which has a defined switchover control number 100. On 45 minute course, visit controls in any order including control 100. Control descriptions available at registration. SportIdent electronic punching.
